MARINATED WHITE RADISHES 
1 pkg. white radishes
1/2 c. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion with tops
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. white pepper

Cut radishes crosswise into 1/4 inch diagonal pieces. Place in glass jar with tight cover. Mix remaining ingredients, pour over radishes. Cover tightly and refrigerate about 12 hours, turning occasionally. Drain, reserving onions, sprinkle onions over radishes.
