DOUBLE FUDGE BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. water 2 c. (12 oz.) Hersheys semi sweet chocolate chips 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. unsifted all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional Combine sugar, butter and water in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to full boil. Remove from heat immediately, add 1 cup chips, and stir until melted. Add eggs and vanilla, stir until blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; then add to chocolate mixture, stir in remaining one cup of chips and nuts (if desired). Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
