ARMENIAN MEATBALLS 
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. soft bread cubes
3 tbsp. onion flakes
2 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

Mix egg lightly with meat. Blend in salt and pepper. Add Cheddar cheese, bread cubes and onion. Mix lightly to blend. Shape into 1 inch balls. Brown meatballs in melted butter in skillet, turning gently. Remove browned balls to shallow baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over balls, top with Parmesan cheese. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove cover; bake for 10 minutes longer. Yield: 6 servings.

(Meatballs may be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated overnight. Increase baking time by 10 minutes if you do this.)
