QUICK COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
Pinch of salt
1 egg, broken in cup - fill cup with milk
1 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix first 3 ingredients together and take out 3/4 cup for topping. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Use 9 x 9 inch square baking pan and sprinkle with 3/4 cup topping which was reserved. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
