GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. nuts
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk

Mix cake mix, 1/4 can milk, melted butter, and nuts. Put 1/2 of this mixture in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees 8 minutes.

Melt caramels with balance of milk. Pour over baked batter, then chocolate chips, then balance of cake mixture. Bake 20 minutes. Enjoy!
