OVEN MOSTACCIOLI 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. mostaccioli noodles
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. bay leaf
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 (6 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Cook mostaccioli in large amount of boiling salted water for about 7 minutes or until almost tender. Drain and set aside.

Combine undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, onion, green pepper, salt, sugar, basil, pepper and 1/2 cup water in blender container; blend well.

Brown ground beef; drain off excess fat. Stir tomato mixture into ground beef; add bay leaf. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf; stir in mostaccioli.

Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove foil; place Mozzarella slices on top. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
