OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.

In a large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels.

Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-8 minutes for chewier cookies, 9-10 minutes for crisper cookies. Makes about 4 dozen.
