1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 can applesauce
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Add flour, cinnamon, soda, cocoa; add applesauce. Mix. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle on top of cake 2 tablespoons sugar, nuts and chocolate chips, then bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
