SHERRY'S LOW-FAT CHILI CON CARNE | |
1/2 lb ground turkey breast 1 lg onion, chopped 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1 (16 oz can) diced tomatoes 1 (8 oz can) tomato sauce 1 tsp salt 2 tsp chili powder dash red pepper flakes 1 (8 oz can) red kidney beans In a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray, add ground turkey breast. Stir in onion, and green pepper. Cook, stirring until turkey is no longer pink and veggies are soft. Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients, except beans. Heat to boil, reduce heat to med-low. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans, cook 10 more minutes. Submitted by: Sherry Monfils |
