GROUND BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. onion 1 c. celery 1 c. carrots 1 c. potatoes 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes 1 tsp. salt 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp. basil 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 beef bouillon cubes 1 (7 oz.) can corn 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can green beans 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can sm. peas Brown beef and onions. Drain fat. Add uncooked vegetables, tomatoes, seasons, bouillon and 5 cups water. Simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add undrained canned vegetables and simmer 5 minutes. |
