APRICOT BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. fresh cut up apricots or 1/2 c. dried, soaked 30 minutes 1 egg 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 c. sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. orange juice 1/4 c. water 1 c. sugar Mix well beaten egg with sugar; add butter. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda together; add to egg mixture alternately with orange juice and water. Add apricots to batter. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
