CHICKEN-IN-A-BAG 
1 (3-4 lb.) chicken, skinned if desired
4 potatoes, cut & peeled if desired
6 carrots, cut in strips
1 sm. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce or to taste
Cooking bag, chicken size
Approximately 1/4 c. butter

Wash and pat dry chicken. Remove and discard giblets. Follow directions to prepare bag. Place chopped onion in cavity of chicken. Place potatoes and carrots in bag. Place chicken on top of vegetables. Salt and pepper chicken. Dot chicken with butter and also in cavity of chicken. Sprinkle soy sauce over chicken and vegetables. Cook at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
