MICROWAVE LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
6 oz. can tomato paste
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
7 to 8 noodles
15 oz. ricotta cheese
10 to 12 oz. mozzarella cheese
1 egg

Brown beef. Add crushed garlic or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon parsley, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon basil, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, tomato paste, tomato sauce, 1/2 cup water. Mix and cover. Simmer.

Mix 1 1/2 cup ricotta cheese with slightly beaten egg, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1 tablespoon parsley. In 2 quart baking dish put 1/3 of sauce, 3 noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture, layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat. Add last of sauce and sprinkle 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese on top.

Cover with plastic wrap leaving corner open for steam. Cook on high 8 minutes. Then cook on medium (simmer) 16 minutes. Remove and cover with aluminum foil, shiny side down. Let sit 20 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
