BAKED ZITI | |
2 lb. ziti (can use rigatoni or mostachioli type pasta) 2 lb. Ricotta cheese 1 lb. grated Mozzarella 2 eggs Salt and pepper, to taste Garlic powder, to taste Oregano, basil, and parsley, to taste 1 lg. jar spaghetti sauce or your own 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese For 9 x 13 pan plus 1 (10 inch) pie pan. Cover bottom of pan with sauce. Cook pasta; drain. Put in large bowl. Mix eggs with Ricotta. Add eggs with Ricotta. Add spices and mix. Add Mozzarella. Combine cheese with ziti; mix well. Add ziti to pan. Top with sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bake covered for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Can also freeze. |
