CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
2 lb. chicken 1 can tomato soup 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 green pepper 2 tbsp. shortening 1/4 c. water 1 lg. cloves garlic Salt to taste 1/2 c. chopped onion In skillet, brown chicken in shortening; drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes. Uncover; cook until sauce thickens. Serves 4-6. |
