CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 chopped green pepper
1/4 c. onion
8 oz. tomato paste
1/4 c. catsup
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lb. sliced American cheese
1 can Pillsbury country style or buttermilk biscuits

Brown beef with onion and green pepper in skillet. Drain fat. Add tomato paste, catsup and pepper. Heat. Alternate meat mixture and cheese slices in ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Arrange biscuits around edge of casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 4 to 6.
