MOUND CAKE 
6 Mound bars
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt candy bars and butter in microwave oven or over hot water. Set aside to cool. Combine sugar, oil, eggs and buttermilk. Stir well. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add all mixture together and mix well. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans and bake 25 minutes.

ICING:

4 Mound bars
1 1/2 sticks butter

Melt in top of double boiler or microwave. Cool. Add 3 tablespoons milk and 3/4 box XXX sugar. Mix well and spread on cake while still warm.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
