STUFFED FRENCH TOAST | |
8-10 slices bread, cubed 6 oz. creamed cheese, cubed 12 eggs 1 c. milk 1/4 c. maple syrup Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Cube bread and creamed cheese. Put half the bread in the pan; top with creamed cheese. Add second half of bread, making layers. Beat eggs and milk together. Add syrup. Pour milk and egg mixture over bread and creamed cheese. More milk may be added to cover bread completely. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until eggs are set in center. Serve hot with additional syrup. Makes 12 servings. Cooked ham or bacon may be added with the creamed cheese. |
