8 hot dogs
1 can crescent rolls
2 slices American cheese

Heat oven according to directions on side of crescent roll can. Split hot dogs lengthwise. Slice cheese and insert. Open rolls and separate into 8 rectangles. Wrap each hot dog with a dough triangle starting with the short end. Arrange wrapped hot dogs an inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake accordingly. Do not underbake or they will be doughy in the center. Children enjoy lending a helping hand with this recipe.
