PEAR BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. yogurt
1 c. coarsely chopped pears
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture alternately with yogurt. Stir in pears and vanilla. Pour into buttered loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
