1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. Rice Krispies, crushed
1 c. applesauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Mix all ingredients together except tomato sauce. The mixture will be light and sticky. Form into round balls the size of a small egg. Place in a large casserole dish. Pour tomato sauce over meat balls. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour 15 minutes.
