TURKEY PATTIES ORIENTAL 
1 1/4 lb. fresh turkey (ground)
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. cooking oil
2 stalks celery, cut 1/4" pieces
1 onion, cut in thin rings
1 med. pepper, 3/4" pieces
2 med. tomatoes, cut into 1/8's (optional)

SAUCE:

1 c. chicken broth
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar

Mix first 4 ingredients, form into 4-6 patties 3/4 inch thick. Heat cooking oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute 3 minutes on each side until brown. Mix sauce, pour over patties; bring to boil, stir. Reduce heat. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer, covered for 6 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomato another 2-3 minutes. Serve with rice.
