UNCOOKED FUDGE 
1 lb. (3 3/4 c.) sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cream
1 egg, separated
3 tbsp. butter
3 squares (3 oz.) unsweetened cooking chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine sugar, salt, cream, beaten egg yolk. Add chocolate and butter which have been melted together; blend well. Add vanilla and stiffly beaten egg white and walnuts. Spread mixture into buttered pan and allow to harden. Cut into squares.
