APPLE STREUSEL MINCE PIE 
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inch)
3 Granny's apple, pared and thinly sliced
1/2 c. plus 3 tbsp. unsifted flour
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 qt. Bomberger's mincemeat
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. cold butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts

In a large bowl, toss apples with 3 tablespoons flour and melted butter. Arrange in pastry shell. Top with mincemeat. In medium bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over mincemeat. Bake 10 minutes in preheated over of 425 degrees. Reduce oven to 375 degrees; continue baking 25-30 minutes. Cool slightly and serve warm.
