APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. apples, chopped
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 stick butter

CAKE: Mix eggs, oil and sugar, blend well. Sift flour, salt, and soda; add to egg mixture. Add vanilla, chopped apples, and nuts. Pour into a greased sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. While cake is still hot, pour hot topping over cake while in pan and let cool.

TOPPING: Combine and cook for 2 1/2 minutes.
