SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes, boiled (whole with skins on)

Cut boiled potatoes (or slice) into buttered casserole. Salt and pepper to taste.

1/3 c. chopped onion, sauteed in 1/4 c. butter
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream/chicken with mushroom)

Warm soup (not boiled) and add to warm soup:

1 pt. sour cream

Add the sauteed onion to soup mixture. Pour over sliced potatoes, mixing gently.

1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Top potatoes with cheese. Top cheese with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
