CASSEROLE ALL' ABRUZZESE 
1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak, diced
2 (1 lb.) cans Campbell's pork and beans
1 clove garlic, chopped or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 green pepper, diced
1/2 tsp. pepper
Salt to taste
4 tbsp. catsup
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cooking oil

Heat oil in large frying pan and brown meat slightly. Stir in beans. Add green pepper and garlic. Sprinkle black pepper and salt. Stir in catsup and water. Transfer to deep casserole dish. Cover and simmer 10-12 minutes, stirring from time to time.
