TURTLE BARS 
1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk and melted butter. Pat 1/2 of cake mixture in a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Add chopped pecans. Spread caramel mixture on top of cake and sprinkle on chips. Pat remaining half of cake mixture on top. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
