1 (32 oz.) jar medium picante sauce 1 (16 oz.) can hominy, drained 2 (16 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained 1 c. white onion, chopped 1 c. green onion, chopped (tops too) 1 c. tomato, chopped 1 c. green pepper, chopped 1/4 c. jalapeno pepper, chopped 2 tbsp. coarse black pepper 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. cumin 1 tbsp. sugar Mix all of the ingredients and marinate for 24 hours. Serve with tortilla chips. |
