PUNCH BOWL CAKE | |
1 1/2 boxes cake mix (yellow) 2 lg. vanilla pudding (instant) 2 cans strawberry pie filling (any flavor would be alright) 2 lg. cans pineapple tidbits, drained 2 lg. containers, Cool Whip 1 jar Maraschino cherries Pecans, broken Bake cakes according to package directions. Cool. Crumble half of cake in bottom of a punch bowl. Mix one pudding mix and pour over. Put one can of pineapple over pudding and one can of strawberry pie filling over this. Put one container of Cool Whip. Crumble the other half of the cake and layer next, then put pudding, pineapple, strawberry, Cool Whip and end with nuts and cherries on top. Refrigerate. This cake is better if frozen for several hours (or even overnight) and served the next day. Serves 30-35. |
