4 1/2 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. beef for stewing (do not brown first)
1 pkg. frozen stew vegetables
2 tsp. seasoned salt
Pepper to taste
1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained
1/4 c. red wine

Or 3 medium potatoes, 3 large carrots, 1/2 large onion, 1 package frozen Italian green beans.

Mix all ingredients together in large casserole. Cover. Bake at 300 degrees for 4 1/2 hours.
