PINEAPPLE CAKE FILLING 
2 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 egg whites, beaten
pinch of salt

Drain pineapple. Save syrup. Mix sugar and syrup in saucepan and boil. Pour over egg whites. Mix pineapple and spread on favorite cake layers.
