SOPAPILLAS 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. scalded milk
2 tsp. oil

Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well, dissolve yeast in warm water and mix together milk and oil. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead in enough flour to form a soft dough. Knead 20 to 30 times. Roll out approximately 1/4 inch thick, or thinner.
