WAFFLE COOKIES 
6 tbsp. baking cocoa
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. When iron is hot drop by teaspoonfuls on hot iron and close lid. Wait about 60 seconds and lift lid. Will be firm like waffle only smaller and smell better. Use a fork to lift out of hot iron. Set on rack to cool. When cool frost with canned frosting. Chocolate waffle cookies use German chocolate pecan frosting or cherry chip frosting. You can use different flavorings like almond or cherry extracts. The possibilities are endless. Also another variation of this recipe is to omit the baking cocoa and have a white cookie and experiment with the flavorings and frostings. These cookies freeze well.
