2 1/2 c. water
2 lb. trimmed deer steak
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1 sm. can tomato sauce

Place steaks in bottom of crock pot. Pour over 2 cups water. Cook on low for 1 hour. Drain water. Mix green peppers, onions, barbecue sauce, tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water. Pour mixture over steaks. Cook 1 additional hour on low.
