1 med. head of cabbage 1 med. onion 3 lg. potatoes 3 lg. carrots 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 lbs. cubed ham, 1/2" thick 1 1/2 - 2 c. water Coarsely shred the cabbage; cube potatoes and ham; slice carrots; dice onions. Place all ingredients in a 4 quart saucepan. Stir to mix well. Cook until all is tender. Pour in serving dish. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes before serving. |
