SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE | |
4 c. medium egg noodles 1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. butter 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. sour cream 1 c. thinly sliced green onions 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Cook noodles according to package directions, drain. Brown beef in butter, stir in tomato sauce, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Mix together sour cream, onions and noodles. In buttered 2 quart casserole alternate layers of noodles and meat mixture, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese and lightly browned. |
