WHEAT BREAD FROM INDIA 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together and knead until it is smooth. Set aside for 30 minutes. Divide into 6 portions and press into flat round shapes.

Heat a non-stick pan with a little bit of oil and put in dough to cook for about a minute. You will see parts of the dough turning brown. Turn it over and finish cooking.

Press the chapati with a towel or a spatula as it cooks to keep it flat. Serve while warm. You may add a bit of butter but this is optional.
