EASY ONION SOUP 
2 tsp. butter
2 c. sliced onions
1 tsp. flour
3 c. beef broth
French bread, sliced lightly toasted
1/2 c. shredded Swiss
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Melt butter. Brown onions. Add flour and mix until smooth. Stir in broth and boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Top with French bread and cheese. (Optional: place under broiler for a few minutes until cheese is brown.)
