ROUND STEAK CASSEROLE 
2 lb. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 onion, thinly sliced
3 to 4 potatoes, pared and quartered
16 oz. can green beans
1 lg. can tomato sauce
14 1/2 oz. can tomatoes
3 to 4 carrots, pared

Season round steak with salt and pepper. Cut into serving pieces and place in crock pot with sliced onion, which has been separated into rings. Add potatoes and green beans. Top with tomato sauce and tomatoes.

Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (high - 4 to 5 hours). Remove cover during last half hour if too much liquid has collected.
