BANANA BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. sour cream or sour milk
2 ripe bananas
2 c. flour

FROSTING:

10 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. canned milk
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and sour cream. Add bananas and other ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (or less) in 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Can also use 11 x 15 inch sheet cake pan; bake approximately 20 minutes. Cook together brown sugar, canned milk, and butter for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and enough powdered sugar to spreading consistency.
