CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD | |
2 c. all purpose flour 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. cranberries, chopped 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1 orange 1 egg 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. cooking oil Grease and flour a 3"x5" (loaf pan). In a large bowl sift flour, sugar, soda, baking powder, grate orange rind (2 tablespoons), add juice to make 3/4 cup, add cooking oil. Combine these liquids to flour mixture, then add beaten egg and mix well (will be like bread dough). Last add cranberries and nuts. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Let cool 24 hours before slicing. |
