THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE AND
FROSTING
 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix with pudding in
1 c. real mayonnaise
1 c. water
3 eggs

Cake - grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans or one 9 x 13 inch pan. In large bowl mix to blend ingredients for 30 seconds. Then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat ingredients with electric beater for 5 minutes until smooth. When cake is cool frost as usual.
