Makes brownies according to cake-like instructions. In a separate bowl, mix 1 egg, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 8 ounces cream cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt in another bowl. Beat until creamy. Then spread 1/2 brownie mix in 8 x 8 inch pan. Add all of cream cheese batter on top, then rest of brownie mix. Run knife through pan in criss-cross pattern to marble. Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 35 minutes. Enjoy!
