COCONUT CRUNCH TORTE | |
1 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. chopped moist coconut 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 4 egg whites 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Beat egg whites, salt and vanilla until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until peaks form. Combine with graham cracker mixture and place in well-greased 9-inch pie pan. bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. This is rich. You could cut more than 6 pieces. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping. Serves 6. |
