KEY LIME PIE 
1 graham cracker crumb crust
1 can condensed milk
4 eggs
1/2 c. fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. grated lime peel
2 drops green food coloring
6 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Separate eggs. Keep 1 white separate. Set aside 3 whites for meringue.

Mix condensed milk, 4 egg yolks, lime juice and lime peel in bowl. Add food coloring and mix. Beat 1 egg white until stiff and gently fold into filling mixture. Pour into graham cracker crust.

MERINGUE: Beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and cream of tartar. Spread meringue on filling being careful to seal all edges. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned
