TORTA SALGADA 
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. baking powder
Salt to taste

Beat all ingredients together in blender. Grease 9 x 11 inch pan. Pour half the batter into pan.

Then place filling layer (may be cooked and seasoned ground beef and tomato sauce; may be tomatoes sliced, cheese slices, ham slices or chunks; may be pieces of cooked chicken, olives, peas, palm hearts; may be any ingredients you invent) a little onion, parsley chopped up, etc. may be added.

Finally, pour remaining batter on top of filling. Bake in moderate oven, until toothpicks comes out clean. Approximately 30 minutes.
