SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. plus 2 tsp. flour

Cream first 4 ingredients, add vanilla and eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients and blend. Chill in refrigerator. Roll into small balls, a rounded teaspoon at a time. Allow room to spread on cookie sheet. Dip bottom of glass in sugar and flatten cookies.

NOTE: On first dip spray bottom of glass with Pam and then in sugar to prevent sticking. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
