GLORIFIED RICE 
1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2/3 c. precooked rice
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tiny marshmallows
2 bananas, sliced
1 c. Cool Whip

Drain pineapple, reserve syrup. In saucepan, combine rice, water, syrup and salt. Mix just to moisten rice. Bring quickly to boil, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat for 5 minutes and add all fruit and marshmallows. Cool and fold in Cool Whip and chill until ready to serve.
