QUICK BROWN BREAD | |
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk 1/2 c. sweet milk 1/2 c. molasses 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. flour 2 c. whole wheat or graham flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1 c. raisins 1 c. walnuts (broken and chopped) Mix everything together and pour into 9x5 greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes. This makes a healthy, hearty bread to fill in a meal and is a great snack with cream cheese. |
